Poll finds the economic impact of COVID-19 is more of a concern than the health effects
Canadians are more worried about the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic than they are over the health effects of the virus, a new poll suggests. The Campaign Research survey provided to the Star found a staggering 99 per cent of respondents are aware of the crisis — and 93 per cent are worried about the economy. COVID-19: Coronavirus Study
This study was conducted between March 13th to 17th, 2020, among a sample of 2,306 residents of Canada. The study was conducted through online surveys. The aggregate results have a margin of error of plus or minus 2%, 19 times out of 20. Where and how is the study conducted? The study included respondents from an online panel of Canadians 18 years or older. The sample is weighted to regional, age and gender demographics, as per Statistics Canada.
