Poll suggests Ontarians feel ‘more depressed’ and ‘upset’ after a year of COVID-19

After a year of COVID-19, most Ontarians are feeling more depressed and more upset than they were before the pandemic, a new poll suggests.


In a poll of Ontarians, about one-quarter of respondents said they were drinking more alcohol while 16 per cent are drinking less and 59 per cent are consuming the same amount as before the pandemic. MATTHEW BUSCH / NYT
