Throughout 2017, Campaign Research analyzed levels of consumer satisfaction among Canada’s leading brands as well as the reasons why consumers prefer to purchase some brands to others. We evaluated consumer satisfaction across several industries ranging from confectionary, automobiles, coffee shops, retailers, banks, appliance manufactures, airlines, quick-service restaurants, and gas stations.
Overall score of the industries Campaign Research analyzed
Consumers gave brands, like Tangerine, Lindt and Acura, high customer satisfaction ratings on the basis that they produced quality products and had great customer service. Conversely, some brands had low customer satisfaction levels because consumers felt that they did not deliver on quality and provided poor value.
“Canadian consumers purchasing behaviour are constantly changing. Brands and organizations constantly need to analyze consumer sentiment to ensure they continue to be relevant.” said Eli Yufest, CEO of Campaign Research Inc.
The studies were all conducted monthly in 2017 by Campaign Research as part of its monthly omnibus studies among an online panel of tens of thousands of Canadian consumers who were compensated for their participation and who were selected to reflect Canada’s age, gender and regional distributions in line with 2016 Statistics Canada census data. Each study will have a different margin of error, depending on the sample size. On average, our monthly analysis included the opinions of ~ 2000 consumers. Data was weighted by age, gender and region to reflect the demographics of Canada according to 2016 Statistics Canada census data.
