There is a significant gap in terms of support between Mayor John Tory and his three chief opponents.  Of decided voters, John Tory received 69% support. Voter intent for Kristyn Wong-Tam was at 10%, while support for Desmond Cole was at 9%. 12% of Torontonians preferred “another candidate” for mayor.

Campaign Research asked each respondent to rate the level of importance they place on a set of policy planks.  This allows for an analysis of the “stated” importance for each policy plank relative to other policy planks.  The diagram below shows a top tier of policy planks that respondents told us were more important relative to the other policy planks.
